The City of Associations

Working with long-time partner ASAE we reinvigorated their ASAE Summit Awards. This time we took the gala to the National Building Museum.

LAI Live's scenic concept used parallel bands of material that bonded together at the top to create a letter A, representing "The Power of A."

The event had a unified, sophisticated, and festive visual atmosphere for attendees with elegant on-stage scenic elements and graphic art showcasing navy blues and pops of gold metallic tones.

LAI Live utilized the museum's space to its full potential by adding screens and sound into the outer courts for attendees and encouraging guests to fill the entire show space to allow for social distancing.

We believe that every event has the potential to be a memorable experience, regardless of the venue. Recently, we had the pleasure of planning and executing a retirement ceremony for a client in a plane hangar in Washington DC.

This unique location allowed us to think outside of the box and create a one-of-a-kind event. Our team transformed the hangar into a stylish and sophisticated venue, complete with elegant decor and lighting that complemented the aircraft on display.

We ensured that every detail was carefully planned, from the layout and seating arrangements to the staging and audio-visual setup, to provide a seamless and unforgettable experience for our client and their guests.

My association recently celebrated 100 years with a Centennial Gala so we turned to LAI Live to help us secure and manage all the vendors -  drape, lighting, sound, stage, etc. – needed to transform the National Building Museum.
