Kate Burns is the chief operating officer at Leading Authorities. With a 10+ year background with LAI, Kate is involved across the company in executing our plans for growth, helping build a company that creates value and opportunity for all of us in the years ahead.

Kate is also an Experience Economy Certified Expert (CEE) who works with clients to design strategic events that align with their organizational objectives and create video projects that meet the client’s overall marketing and messaging goals. Prior to Leading Authorities, she was the senior director of marketing and communications at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. There, she directed the outreach to the organization’s trade association and chamber of commerce members, the Association Committee of 100.

Prior to her position at the Chamber, Kate worked in the radio industry for five years where she was the director of marketing and promotions for six stations of varied formats. She was recognized by her peers in the radio and records industry with the Gavin award for medium market marketing director of the year for her creative and successful promotions.
