Mick Newkumet is a dynamic sales and leadership professional with over 12 years of experience building business growth across the live events, hospitality, and communications industries. Joining LAI Live in 2025 as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Mick brings an energetic and strategic approach to delivering high-impact live experiences—leveraging his diverse background in client relations, event production, and revenue generation.
Mick’s career began in Washington, D.C.’s event scene, where he managed logistics and operations into some of the region’s most respected venues. He later served several successful stints in the hospitality sales sector.
A Penn State graduate, Mick enjoys Nittany Lion football in his off time, while he and his wife are kept on their toes raising their two young kids.
