Let’s be honest, understanding AV costs can be overwhelming, especially if you are working on a new event or with a new provider.
As producers we are the liaison between AV providers and meeting planners. We have the expertise to understand the makes and models of the equipment on your AV quote and the intimate knowledge of your programming to understand what equipment you really can’t skip, and what is fluff.
Here is an example of just a few key differences we found and laid out for a client when reviewing an in-house AV group’s quote and one of our own. These are common differences between our all-inclusive quotes and other in-house AV provider’s a la carte set ups.
As the show producer, we best understand the equipment needed to execute the vision of the show. This could mean an audio set up that accommodates stingers and VOs to welcome your talent to stage; confidence monitors, speaker timers, and slide advancers to support speaker presentations and panels; or a stage wash to make sure your camera records aren’t poorly lit and colored uplights to make your scenic design pop!
Whether the client decides to go with our AV services or adjust the in-house quote to better suit their needs, we work with them all the way through pre-production to be confident they have all the equipment and labor to create a polished show.
